Abstract: ‘Anyuanzao’navel orange is a new cultivar selected from the early-maturing bud mutation of‘Newhall’navel orange,which is more than 15 days earlier than‘Newhall’navel orange. It has a strong tree vigor and flowering ability,mainly producing fruit on spring shoots. The fruit index is about 1.07,and the weight of a single fruit is 230-270 g. The edible rate was 74.80%,the content of reducing sugar was 5.46%,the soluble solids content was 12.90%,the vitamin C content was 698.00 mg · kg^-1,the titratable acid content was 0.56%. The trees were put into production in the third year after high-grafting,and the yield could reach 17 450 kg · hm^-2 in the fifth year. The field showed a certain degree of drought resistance and cold resistance,It is suitable for moderate planting in navel orange producing areas.
