Abstract: Dendrobium officinale‘Xianhu 4’was a new elite cultivar through artificial hybridization,which was derived from the cross between wild D. officinale 9 and‘Xianhu 1’. Moderate and upright plant shape,cylindrical stem and green skin with purple spots,and obvious black nodes. Leaves narrow ovate,apex sharp,without hairs. The number of flowers is moderate,with petals and sepals curved outward and yellow white. The survival rate of transplantation is high and there are many tillers. The output is high,the average production cycle of the two production cycles is 31 341 kg · hm^-2. Strong disease resistance,high sugar content throughout the year（over 40%）,excellent quality,suitable for making Tiepi Fengdou and D. officinale extracts,suitable for facility planting in Zhejiang Province.
