A New Magnolia Cultivar‘Qinhe’

摘要:

玉兰新品种‘秦荷’是由‘红元宝’紫玉兰(Magnolia liliiflora‘Hong Yuanbao’)和青皮玉兰(Magnolia virdula)通过人工杂交获得。花被片9 ~ 11个,形状倒卵形,外表面深紫粉(RHS colour chart 66D),内表面极淡紫(RHS colour chart 73D);花蕾顶生和腋生。

Abstract:

The new Magnolia Cultivar‘Qinhe’was obtained by artificial hybridization between M. liliiflora‘Hong Yuanbao’and M. virdula. Each single flower has perianth segments 9-11 and the shape is obovate,with dark purple powder on the outer surface(RHS colour chart 66D)and very light purple on the inner surface(RHS colour chart 73D). The flower bud has terminal and axillary.
