Effects of IBA Treatments on the Root Growth of Hydroponic Aglaonema‘Silver Queen’

Abstract: The number , length and fresh mass of hydroponic Aglaonema ‘Silver Queen ’ roots were increased by treating with 50 - 150 mg/ L indolebutyric acid ( IBA) . Of those , treating with 100 mg/ L IBA could effectively acce2lerate the formation of adventitious roots. Additionally , IBA treatment could enhance the root activity significantly.
