Abstract: Young sporophytes of Sphaeropteris lepifera were reproduced from spores, and which were rejuvenated artificially. The results indicated that light intensity between 60–80 μmol · m-2 · s-1,temperature at 25 ℃,pH 6.7 were better conditions for gametophyte development of S. lepifera. From the first sporophyte formed, the sporophytes were rejuvenated for seven months, when the height between pinna and ground could reach 50 cm,and the survival rate was above 95%.
