Etiology of Thick Liquid Disease Fruit of Ziziphus jujuba Mill. 'Zhanhua Dongzao' and Its Control

Abstract: The thick liquid disease fruit of dongzao jujube is one of the most important diseases in main producing areas in Shandong Province. The isolation and pathogenicity tests showed that the disease was caused by Macrophomina phaseolina. And the biological characteristics of M. phaseolina were studied in this paper. The lab testing results showed that the median of inhibitory concentration(EC50) of Ovraclostrobin 25%EC, Ovraclostrobin-metiram 60%WG, Azoxystrobin 25%SC and Kresoxim-methyl 50%DF for M. phaseolina were 0.1970, 0.5770, 4.4042 and 55.3120 μg/mL, respectively. The field trial results demonstrated that the control efficacy of 330 mg/L Kresoxim-methyl 50%DF, 250 mg/L Ovraclostrobin 25%EC or 500 mg/L Ovraclostrobin-metiram 60%WG against M. phaseolina was 88.51%-97.60%.
