A New Savoy Cultivar‘Wuhuangxin 1’

Abstract: ‘Wuhuangxin 1’is a new savoy hybrid cultivar,was bred by crossing self-incompatible line W53-P6 as female parent and W827 as male parent. The plant is semi-erect,and its petiole is flat and slightly concave,smooth and white. Leaves obovate,entire,outer leaves dark green,inner leaves yellow,orange after frost,leaf surface wrinkled and wrinkled bubble dense. It is crisp and tender,tastes slightly sweet and has good flavor. Maturity period is 60–70 d,tolerant to low temperature,resistant to diseases,and has excellent performance in the field,making it a characteristic autumn and winter vegetable for outdoor cultivation in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
