Abstract: ‘Zijin’is a new avocado（Persea americana Mill.）cultivar selected from seedling populations at the Guangxi Subtropical Agricultural Science Research Institute. The fruit is elliptical with an average single fruit weight of 623.2 g. At maturity，it exhibits a dry matter content of 24.24%，total sugar of 17.1 g · kg^-1，fat content of 60.0 g · kg^-1，and an edible rate of 82.1%. The fresh fruit has green peel that turns moderate purple upon softening，with golden-yellow flesh. It matures early in Longzhou，Guangxi，from late July to early August，demonstrating high productivity with an average yield of 39.80 kg per tree at 6 years old. This cultivar is well-adapted to cultivation in the Chongzuo region.
