A New Actinidia arguta Cultivar‘Zhongke Mizao Xiong 1’

Abstract: ‘Zhongke Mizao Xiong 1’is a new Actinidia arguta cultivar selected from the seedlings of‘Kuilü’in Wuhan. The flower is a dichotomous inflorescence,white and large in amount,with a corolla diameter of 2.78 cm,5–6 petals,with greenish-white. Green sepals,4–5 sepals,and the anthers measure 1.65 mm × 0.62 mm,and approximately 38–39 filaments. It abundant pollen with 92.62%–96.67%. In Wuhan,flowering is in late April to early May,flowering lasting 10–12 days. It can coincide with the flowering periods of over 20 varieties of Actinidia arguta,such as‘Mizao 1’‘Mizao 2’,and‘Kuilü’. It is suitable for cultivation in kiwifruit production areas such as Hubei and Hunan,as well as in similar ecological regions.
