Abstract: The new cultivar‘Ningxiang’is a specific individual found in the natural pollination population of Cinnamomum camphora. It has obvious citral fragrance，and the test confirmed that the main component of the leaf essential oil is citral（about 60%）. As citral is an important raw material for perfume，daily chemical and pharmaceutical industries，the cultivar has great value in the cultivation of perfume industrial forests. It can also be used in landscaping and road greening.
