Abstract: ‘Xianghun’is a new hybird bred from a unique single plant selected from the F₁ population derived from Luculia pinceana cultivar‘Hongfu’（the female parent）and L. yunnanensis（the male parent）. The cultivar is perennial evergreen shrub with spreading plant type. Its leaf blade is thinly leathery，long elliptic，apex acute，entire. The inflorescence type is cyme and its rachis is covered with chaff-like hairs. The corona is light purple，consistent with flower lobes. The corolla tube is（3.21 ± 0.21）cm in length and the corolla diameter is（5.07 ± 0.52）cm. Pinnate appendages exist between corolla lobes. The cultivar has a powerful perfume and great ornamental value.
