Effects of Different Varieties and Planting Patterns on the Growth and Quality,Yield of Aquicultural Garlic Seedlings

Abstract: The research was to study the growth,quality and yield of garlic seedlings with different varieties and planting patterns under hydroponic conditions. The garlic varieties were‘Jinxiang 3’,‘Cangshan Caosuan’and‘Sichuan Zaotai’. The planting patterns of garlic were single cropping,half head planting and whole head planting. The results showed that:in the single planting conditions,the‘Jinxiang 3’seedling increments,the comprehensive quality and yield were significantly higher than other varieties. For the‘Jinxiang 3’garlic with single planting,the garlic seedling increment,pigment content and photosynthetic parameter(Pn,E,Gs)of leaf,the root activity,the comprehensive quality and aquicultural garlic seedlings yield were significantly higher than other treatments. Therefore,a better variety of hydroponics is‘Jinxiang 3’,and the reasonable planting type is single planting.
