Abstract: ‘Beihua 1’was selected from the Vaccinium corymbosum introduced from the USA. Nearly round and blue-purple，fruits are covered with white powder，and the stem is 8.7 mm. The average single fruit weight was 2.08 g，long diameter was 1.57 cm，short diameter was 1.21 cm，and soluble solids content was 11.6%，total sugar was 7.82%，acidity was 0.28%，vitamin C content was 0.27 mg ? g-1，vitamin B1 content wa 11.6 μg ? g-1，and anthocyanin content was 1.52 mg ? g-1. The scavenging rate of DPPH free radical by anthocyanin was 93.12%，juice yield 73.5%. Mid-early maturing，fruits ripen in the Changbai Mountain area in early August. With the advantages of resistance to coldness and disease，high yield and stable production，it is suitable for cultivation in the Changbai Mountain area in eastern Jilin Province.
