Abstract: ‘Huhei 6’is a new hybrid of eggplant developed by crossing inbred line 301-3-1-1-1-1-1-1 with inbred line B-3-8-13-7-8. It grows vigorously and the first flower is in 8th–10th node. The shape of fruit is long cylindric，the average fruit length is 32.4 cm，the fruit width is 6.0 cm，and the fruit weight is 320 g. Its peel color is purplish black with smooth surface. Its calyx is green. It has good commodity with high storage and transportation. The average yield is 64.18 t ? hm-2. Its appropriate cultivation area is in the east，central，northeast and southwestern China valley.
