Abstract: Both‘Huangjin’and‘Huangying’are new cultivars selected from superior individuals of Acer elegantulum in Ninghai County，Zhejiang Province. Leaf colour of the two cultivars is showy. From spring to early summer，most young leaves of‘Huangjin’are light greenish blue. Mature leaves are mostly light greenish yellow，few are mixed with green，which then turn greenish yellow mixed with green in autumn. The young leaves of‘Huangying’are rufous and carmine mixed，and then turn deep greenish yellow mixed with green in spring. In late summer，the leaves of‘Huangying’turn bright yellow-green and green mixed. Both of them have high ornamental value.
