Detecting the Seedless Characteristics of the Grapes in China with DNA Probeand DNA Marker Assistant Selection

摘要: 用葡萄无核基因的特异探针18 bp (5’CCAGTTCGCCCGTAAATG3’) 检测了我国栽培的21 个无核葡萄品种和9 个有核对照品种的无核性, 证实了该探针可以对葡萄无核基因进行准确的检测和鉴定; 通过该探针对有核×无核(红地球×红光无核) 杂交后代无核性状的鉴定, 并对照大田结果, 证明了18 bp检测葡萄无核基因探针具有预测葡萄无核性状的作用。

Abstract: The paper reported the detection proficiency of the seedlessness in 21 seedless grape cultivars and 9 seeded ones using a specific primer which was a probe available for detecting seedless genes in grapes’genome. The
results showed that the specific probe could be accurately used in the cultivars cultured in China. The preselection of seedlessness was also reached in cross combination‘seeded cultivars (Red Globe ) ×seedless one (Flame seedless) ’progenies. It furthermore demonstrated that the seedlessness in grapes was controlled by multigenes and the specific genetic marker was linked to one of the seedless genes in grapes.
