荔枝果实发育时期的新划分

A Revised Division of the Developmental Stages in Litehi Fruit

摘要: 荔枝果实的个体发育应划分两个时期(第1期和第Ⅱ期),第Ⅱ期又可划分为两个亚期(Ⅱa和Ⅱb)。第1期是以果皮和种皮发育为主,为果实缓慢生长阶段,种子的溶质累积生长率小于水分累积生长率,果皮的溶质累积生长率与水分累积生长率近似; Ⅱa期大约维持14 d,种胚快速生长,其它部分也有一定量的生长,溶质累积生长率大于水分累积生长率,而具败育种子果实不具有Ⅱa期; Ⅱb期大约持续21 d,假种皮快速膨大生长,溶质累积生长率小于水分累积生长率,成熟过程加速进行。聚类分析结果也进一步验证了这种划分方法符合数学变化规律。

Abstract: It was suggested that litchi fruit growth could be reasonably divided into two stages(Stage I andStage II),and stageⅡ could be further subdivided into two substages(Stage II a and Stage II b).Stage I,which constitutes about two thirds of the whole fruit growth cycle(0-53 DAA),was the phase mainly characterized by the growth of pericarp and seedcoat,during which the influx of solutes was slower than the influx of water into the seed,and it Was almost the same case for the pericarp.Stage II a was the phase mainly characterized by the growth of embryo(53—67 DAA)and the influx of solutes Was faster than water influx into the fruit during this stage.Stage II a was not distinct in fruit with aborted seed.Stage II b(67—88 DAA)was the phase characterized by rapid aril growth and maturation,when the infl ux of solutes Was slower than water infl ux into the aril and the ma turation progressed rapidly.Clustering analysis results of changes in fruit dry mass confi rmed that this revised
division of two developmental stages Was in accordance with the ma thema tical pattern and wi th the notion of“Ballskin versus bladder efect”proposed by Huang and Xu(1983).
