摘要: 详细回顾了20 世纪60 年代至21 世纪初中国新疆哈密瓜遗传育种的发展历程,并介绍了这一时期有代表性的哈密瓜新品种的选育过程。总结了这一阶段的哈密瓜遗传育种研究的经验,就如何提高哈密瓜育种效率以及未来的研究方向和育种目标进行了探讨。

Abstract: It was reviewed from the 1960's to the beginning of 21th century that the development of genetics and breeding on Hami melon in Xinjiang,including landraces evaluation,traditional and biotechnological breeding studies in this paper. The breeding process for some selected representative cultivars of Hami melon during that period was introduced in detail. In addition,experience of genetics and breeding on Hami melon were summed-up,and the efficiency on Hami melon breeding was also discussed. Lastly,the research trends and breeding targets of Hami melon was forecasted,which is significant to the genetic improvement of Hami melon.
