Abstract:

‘Jinfu 4’is a new medium-late ripening apple cultivar selected from the bud mutation of ‘Jinfu 1’. The fruit is oblong in shape and the averaged single fruit weight is 240.5 g. The fruit skin is glossy with yellow-green ground color and deep red over color. The flesh is juicy，sweet-sour，palatable and aromatic. The fruit is good in taste quality with a firmness of 8.91 kg ? cm-2 and a soluble solids content of 14.93%. The duration of fruit development is 150–155 d. The cultivar is easy-flowering，stable and productive，and the yield can reach to 46.58–48.62 t ? hm-2.
